RITUALS

The only ritual of a purely symbolic nature known at this time is the practice of disrobing and prostrating oneself on the bare ground, to symbolize a desire to connect to the earth as profoundly as possible. Celebrants whose modesty prevents them from disrobing in the presence of others use portable curtained enclosures.
