ADMISSION AND TITHING
The means by which one gains admission into the faith are not entirely clear. It would seem that inclusion is strictly by invitation, and that candidates are contacted anonymously, presumably after they have demonstrated independently some degree of affinity with the faith’s central doctrines. There is apparently no means by which one may apply for membership.
Planetarians do not seek tax relief from the government. Tithing is not required since the faith has no clergy, no houses of worship, no official expenditures and no real property of any kind. Members simply pay for whatever meager expenses are incurred in the practice of their religion without complaint or compensation.
